IMPORTANT NOTICE
Hicksville
offers free land to private sector companies who set up operations in the village Industrial Park. Any type business that provides at least 20 new full-time jobs is eligible for 5 acres of land. The program is administered through the Defiance County Economic Development office and is designed to bring jobs to a shovel ready industrial park. Jobs must pay an average of 150% of the Federal minimum wage and the industry must make a 5 year commitment secured through a promissory note. REMINDER TO ALL VILLAGE RESIDENTS:
TRASH COLLECTION for the JULY 4TH, 2017 HOLIDAY: will be pushed back one day. The normal Tuesday route will be picked up on Wednesday July 5th and the usual Wednesday route will be collected Thursday July 6th. Regular schedule will resume the following week.
