The mission of the Village Administrator is to provide residents, visitors, and the business community with the highest quality municipal services in an efficient and professional manner.

The Administrator serves as the head of village operations, including streets, water, refuse and wastewater treatment departments. The Administrator also supervises maintenance of public places, sidewalks, storm water systems, street lighting and traffic control devices. They have certain purchasing powers and may be given other duties by ordinance. The Administrator may appoint employees authorized by village council and approved by the mayor.

They are a member of the Public Nuisance Board, Water Task Force, Revolving Loan Committee, Tree Committee and Disaster Committee, and serve on the American Disabilities Advisory Board. They are a member of the Ohio Municipal League, the Ohio City/County Managers Association, and represents the Village at Black Swamp Council.
